So she left her clan in search of grand adventure, profit, a life of sailing, and hopes of one day owning her own ship. Who knew she would actually find it all and more.

However, Rayla wanted to be more than that. She looked to the sky and to the oceans, hoping one day she would have a ship of her own. To sail to far off lands just out of her reach. Many other Keepers would laugh at her and tell her she'd would not make it far, but this didn't deter her. Rayla admired the magical guns she had seen travelers, sailors and adventurers use. She wanted one of her own and to learn how to use it. Rayla was inevitably laughed at for this as well. Finally, Rayla had gotten sick and tired of the way her tribe treated her and her dreams. Deciding to prove them all wrong, she left. Determined to follow her own dreams, and she did. After many learning curves, ups, downs, and mistakes Rayla discovered her true path in becoming a Sky Privateer. Deciding she was not cruel enough for the life of a pirate, she instead hires out her crew for tasks in order to guarantee gil.

Despite her life as a sailor, she still is flawed with her nocturnal nature of being a Keeper of the Moon. Daytime is still too bright for her and she tends to get sleepy when the Sun is high in the sky. She is mostly seen at night because of this.Sky Privateer
Once a Sky Pirate, Rayla has settled for a life of Privateering. The Sky Pirates of Ishgard have a moral code that she respects, and they work for Ishgard like her crew does, but she wishes to move away from the negative flak pirates receive. She even fits the playful personality of one; sassy, clever, and quick on her feet. Rayla also has sticky fingers, whether that be to keep or to sell. Though usually it's to make a profit off of it, old habits die hard. She is the captain of an airship named The Siren's Song. It is her second ship after the last one was destroyed.Her Crew's Carrd
